Savage and Associates announced the hiring of eight college students with northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan ties to join the advisor internship program this summer.

The program provides formal training, access to mentors, opportunities to acquire professional licenses, and other valuable experiences. Joining the program are the following students:

  • Anthony Aducci – University of Kentucky (junior); finance major; Toledo, Ohio (hometown).
  • Deniz Gocmen – University of Toledo (junior); finance major; Perrysburg, Ohio (hometown).
  • Evelyn LaRoy – University of Toledo (junior); finance major; Monroe, Michigan (hometown).
  • Reese Looser – Ohio State University (junior); strategic communication major; Toledo, Ohio (hometown).
  • Marilyn Lott – Bowling Green State University (junior); business administration major; Perrysburg, Ohio (hometown).
  • Austin Schuller – University of Dayton (junior); marketing major; Toledo, Ohio (hometown).
  • Zach Spenthoff – Bowling Green State University (junior); sales and service marketing and management major; Monclova, Ohio (hometown).
  • Nick Steinke – Miami University (junior); economics and data analytics major; Monclova, Ohio (hometown).

Along with working to acquire their life and health license, the students will learn some of the basic risk products, meet regularly with industry experts, learn the importance of ensuring clients are well rounded in their portfolio of bank accounts, investments and insurance, as well as progress in several areas to enhance their industry knowledge. The internship program runs through mid-August.
