Sean Savage CFP®

Sean Savage, CFP^®, is a financial advisor providing wealth advisory services to individuals and retirement/benefit plan services to corporations. As a fiduciary, Sean provides strategic and objective advice to his clients focused on results. His wealth management services are client-centered, with a focus on an ongoing advisory relationship. Sean is the developer of The Sean E. Savage Professional Wealth Management Process™. This process takes clients from the beginning stage of an initial financial meeting to the implementation of financial objectives and ongoing support and regular strategic meetings long-term. Sean and his team serve clients throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan region and across the country. Sean also manages a Concierge Service Program for niche clients with over five million dollars in investable assets.

Sean is also a Certified Financial Planner. This designation is a globally recognized accreditation for financial professionals who have undergone rigorous training and testing in various aspects of financial planning. The CFP designation signifies a commitment to high ethical standards and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles to effectively guide clients toward their financial goals.

Sean also has his ChFC, CLU, and AIF designations. These designations are distinguishing features that demonstrate a commitment to acquiring knowledge through education to serve clients professionally now and in the future.

Sean believes in serving the community.  In 2022, Sean received the key to the city of Toledo from Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz for his work with The V Project, which he founded to support the COVID-19 vaccination effort in northwest Ohio.

He was a key fundraiser for the $6.0M+ development of St. Joseph Sylvania’s east campus from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, he coordinated Matthew’s Independence Day, a community campaign to build a home addition for Matthew Drake, an Iraq War veteran who was critically injured in action. Sean served as the chairman for a capital campaign at West Side Montessori resulting in a new gymnasium, classroom space, and a safe room.

Sean has coached youth sports including cross country, soccer, and basketball for over two decades. He was the cross country coordinator/coach at St. Joe’s Sylvania when they won multiple middle school team state championships. He was the coach of a 5th grade St. Joe’s Sylvania basketball team that won the Ohio Youth Basketball (OYB) state championship in 2008.

Sean was named to Toledo’s 20 Under 40 list in 2000 and received the CYO Adult Contributor Award in 2011. In 2022, he was named the Toledo St. John’s Jesuit Magis Award Recipient. He currently serves on the board of trustees at Lourdes University, is a member of the CYO Advisory Committee, St. Joseph Sylvania Athletic Council, and is a co-chair of the Toledo St. Johns Jesuit Marketing and Admissions Committee. He previously served on the Westside Montessori Board of Trustees.

Sean and Carolyn were married in 1993 and have six children: Drew, Ryan, Mary Kate, Isabella, Reagan, and Nicholas. Sean’s highest priorities in life are faith and family.
