Savage Golf Classic Logo

Savage and Associates established the Savage Foundation in 2003 to help support nonprofit organizations throughout northwest Ohio. Since then, Savage has raised more than $1.6 million for local charities. Our premiere event, the Savage Foundation Golf Classic, has become one of the most successful single-day charity golf outings in the area.

The next tournament is being held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Stone Oak Country Club. Your participation in the Savage Foundation Golf Classic helps benefiting charities make meaningful differences in the lives of those they serve. As always, we truly appreciate your support.

Our 2024 Charities

The Program Inc. is a community where fatherless young men have the opportunity to turn their lives around mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically and grow into economically contributing and thriving members of society.

Inspired by the Christian faith, we embrace individuals and families with compassionate care and services throughout life’s journey. Through our faith and work, we strive to be a forward-thinking, compassionate organization that improves the lives of current and future generations.

The mission of Connecting Kids To Meals (formerly, Feed Lucas County Children) is to provide hot, nutritious meals at no cost to kids in low-income and underserved areas throughout the entire year.

Love and Luggage provides unconditional love and durable luggage for young adults (18-25) aging out of foster care in Lucas County. Upon graduation, a large new duffle bag on wheels is provided to each graduate.

The primary goal of the Open Door is to provide a calm, supportive, therapeutic environment in which men afflicted with substance abuse addiction may be empowered through the spirituality of the 12 Steps to re-establish themselves as self-supporting, sober, productive members of society.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to be associated with an event that demonstrates such excellence, social responsibility, and deep compassion for charitable organizations in our local community. It is through the generosity and kindness of our committee, volunteers, and sponsors that we are able to continue to make a difference in the lives of so many.
